eZee Blocks

I am really pleased to be able to write this post, as it is about a great little product that is fast and easy to use. It also gives the option for a fast and effective way to mount the artwork that you or your artist/photographer is selling.

Its such a simple to use product that gives a great finished look to any of the art work that you produce. Its a finished MDF block with a black edge and self adhesive facure. To apply your print, you can simply peal a corner of the release paper and slowly start to apply your image, slowly working diagonally across the block peal the release paper and rub your image onto the adhesive. With practise this becomes a very quick way to mount your images onto a block that will give added weight (pardon the pun) to the product that you are producing. With the black edge on the block as well it gives a very professional look and feel for a very quick and easy print finishing solution.

Our customers currently using this product agree that this is a fast and effective way to mount images ready for hanging in moments, and photographers agree that that it is a great cost effective way of increasing a prints value substantially without the headache of owning expensive mounting equipment, meaning you also get to keep your desk space clear as well. I believe that this is a must have product if you are a photographer wanting to sell images that can be placed straight on the wall with minimum effort and equipment required.

Canon iPF5100 joins the BPP

I have great news. The Canon iPF5100 has now joined the other Canon large format printers on the Big Print Plan, the only 'pay as you go' solution for large format printing.

Now this is great news, as the iPF5100 is a great printer for photographers and artists that are joining the world of self publishing.

But wait I have forgotten that not everyone knows about the Big Print Plan. The Big Print Plan (BPP), is a way to get a large format printer without the need to buy, the plan works by use of a leasing style setup. The difference being that with the BPP the additional money paid is put towards ink and maintenance tank deliveries, and you have a warranty that is fully comprehensive.

So the upshot of the BPP, is that you get the chance to rent a printer, pay for the inks after you have used them, yes thats right, you can use as much ink as you like and pay at the end of the month, so no upfront ink costs, this can be of benefit to anyone that is just starting off as a new business or even to those that are running big production environments as it covers any possible repairs that might be required during a hard life in a high production environment.
